BD Japan has been expanding its business in the Japanese market since 1971. We have rooted in the Japanese market such as production/logistics, sales/services while drawing up the unique needs of Japan, we make full use of our global information and technology to provide high value-added products and services. We have built a system to quickly meet the needs of customers nationwide by enhancing the infrastructure such as the Fukushima Factory which has an advanced production management system and a laboratory for the purpose of supporting life science research.
Integration with C.R. Bard, Inc. in 2017, has enabled us to provide products essential for minimally invasive medicine that help improve patient quality of life, such as urology, surgery, chemotherapy and endovascular treatment. In Japan, Medicon Co., Ltd. has become a member of the BD group and is working with BD Japan to realise " Advancing the world of health ".

Fukushima Factory
Based on the idea that products that have been entrusted with the heavy duty of saving human life must be produced in a beautifully maintained environment, the Fukushima Factory was built against the backdrop of rich nature which breaks the concept of a factory. In addition to manufacturing facilities, a distribution center, training facilities, and a laboratory are attached. State-of-the-art equipment has been introduced into buildings with Japanese roof tiles that fuse with nature, and products that convey warmth and kindness to medical sites are being created today.
